Family holidays are a major part of life when you have young children. The kids enjoy themselves when there, the parents get a chance to actually have time with their kids without the stress of work each day, and everyone gets the opportunity to participate in some activities that really make the time fly. This is all to do with when you actually arrive but getting there can be the biggest pain, as long car journeys are fraught with possibilities for incredible noise, car sickness and upset children. As much as you may enjoy the holiday itself, the problems with car travel can really put a crimp in your enjoyment.
